Toomas Vavilov

Toomas Vavilov has finished Tallinn Music High School and Tallinn Conservatory as a clarinet player.
Also has Vavilov studied conducting in Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre by Jüri Alperten and Roman Matsov (longtime chief conductor of ERSO).
Important impulses gave him Lithuanian conductor Jonas Aleksa.
Until 2006 was he member of ERSO.
Years 2004-2006 was Vavilov assistant conductor of ERSO and season 2006/2007 music director and chief conductor of Theater Vanemunie.
He is head of brass and woodwind department in Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre and member of Nyyd Ensemble
