Anne Ilves

Anne Ilves (1985) started her violin lessons in Põltsamaa at the local Music School in 1992 and continued viola studies with Andres Levategija at the Heino Eller Music School in Tartu, from which she gratuated in 2004. Since then she has been a student of Tõnu Reimann at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. 2007/2008 she studied with Jouko Mansnerus at the Sibelius Academy. In 2001 she received the first prize in the Estonian String Players competition. She has worked with several orchestras in Estonia and since 2005 is a member of Estonian National Symphony Orchestra and Prezioso String Quartet. Since 2009 she also plays with the Tallinn Chamber Orchestra.
