Andreas Lend

Andreas Lend (1983) began his cello lessons at the Tallinn Music High School with Laine Leichter in 1989. Since 2003 he has been a student of prof. Peeter Paemurru at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre where he finished his Masters Degree in 2010. 2005/2006 he also studied with prof. Hannu Kiiski at the Sibelius Academy. He has received numerous prizes in competitions in Estonia and abroad. Andreas takes part in the work of several Estonian orchestras: Estonian National Symphony Orchestra, Estonian Youth Orchestra. In 2007 he was selected to be a member of Europian Union Youth Orchestra. He is also a member of cello quartet C-Jam and Prezioso String Quartet.
