Vivika Sapori-Sudemäe

Estonian violinist Vivika Sapori-Sudemäe graduated from Tallinn Music High School in the class of prof. Tiiu Peäske and continued with prof. J.Gerretz at Estonian Music Academy. She pursued her studies at Harid Conservatory in Florida with prof. Sergio Schwartz and graduated from Moores School of Music in Houston in 2001.

Vivika has played at Gidon Kremer’s Chamber Orchestra “Kremerata Baltica” and participated in several international music festivals in the US and Europe, such as Salzburg and Gstaad Festival or Keishet Eilon festival in Israel.

From 2005 Vivika Sapori-Sudemäe lives and works in France. As a freelance artist she works closely with several different orchestras in Lyon and holds the role of the principal violinist for the Theatre d’Operette de Lyon.

Since 2011 she has also been playing with the prestigious Orchestre de Paris at Salle Pleyel.

Vivika Sapori-Sudemäe has had also interests in electronical music and has worked with DJs to perform live at several haute couture shows. In 2010 she also created her own private violin studio “Les Petits Solistes” and her students recently won several prizes at the French National “Prodigy Art” Competition.
